Detect COVID-19 Infection by RT-PCR (Reverse-Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction).

The PCR test, priced at $120, will determine if someone is currently infected with the coronavirus. The test will be performed by a Phamatech health care worker using the FDA EUA authorized Thermofisher PCR method using a nasal swab sample. PCR detects genetic material from the virus and is considered the gold standard for COVID-19 diagnostic testing. The test is highly accurate and detects the presence of coronavirus in both symptomatic and asymptomatic individuals. Results include a QR code.
Detect COVID-19 Infection by RAPID ANTIGEN TEST.
Result generally < 1 hour (Nasal swab collection $75.00)
The Rapid Antigen test, priced at $75, provides rapid diagnosis of active SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) infection. The test will be performed by a Phamatech health care worker using the FDA EUA authorized COVID-19 Antigen test. Test results are available within 1 hour. Antigen test detects coronavirus protein and is accurate but less sensitive than PCR test. Antigen test is particularly useful to detect COVID-19 infection in symptomatic individuals. A positive result confirms COVID-19 disease but a negative result does not rule out infection. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has advised people who show COVID-19 symptoms but test negative with a rapid antigen test to get a PCR test to confirm the results.
